In the booklet that comes with Gauze, each song gets two pages -- one with a picture relating to the song and a short verse, or a few words, and one with the lyrics. The 'verse' links listed below are the verses and the pictures that come with them. They're not part of the song per se.. I think of them as extra food for thought. ^^
A few notes: although the kanji for track 7 technically reads as 'mitsu to tsuba', in the track listing on the CD the kanji are turned backwards. If you read the kanji backwards in Japanese, you get 'tsumi to batsu'. Which is a nice little wordplay on Kyo's part, since 'mitsu to tsuba' is 'honey and saliva', but 'tsumi to batsu' is 'crime and punishment'. Also, the tsumi to batsu translation was taken directly from the Gauze 62045 DVD, as the song made very little sense to me, and my Japanese teacher refused to translate it. So blame whoever did the DVD subtitles for it. ^_~
